      Cartographic Technician on contract for the National Park Service, Inter mountain Region’s Geographic Resources Program 2007-2008. Conducted GIS mapping and analysis using ArcGIS, ArcInfo, Arc Catalog, ArcIMS, and ArcSDE in the context ofnatural and cultural resource management.• Projects include creating IMS web maps for Washita National Battlefield and Navajo National Monument, and the Service First Project. These projects involved downloading and augmenting existing GIS and GPS databases from the NPS data store and posting a map to an IMS website. Secondary steps involved technical support for park managers that were unfamiliar with GIS and IMS applications and agency networking for sharing datasets. • Creation of datasets from digital and printed sources that encompasses manipulation of attributes to create comprehensive data layers showing landmarks. Creation of multimedia maps in color and black and white for the Petrified Forest National Park Expansion Project. This included exhaustive data mining for relevant digital layers, networking with other GIS professionals, construction of a graphic oriented report that inventoried the available data and the presentation of this report to the planning directors. • The Georgetown Loop project involved data collection from various sources, GPS and GIS data from Clear Creek County, CDOT and SHPO, satellite imagery, and DOQQs. Heads up digitizing of the railroad path and trail intersections was needed for advanced planning. All data was compiled into a standard GIS data directory structure with metadata for dissemination among state and local agencies. • The Las Vegas, New Mexico Trails project required data acquisition from various sources while coordinating teamwork with individuals in two states. This project was a last minute emergency and required essential time management and data collection skills. Show less

      I serve as the lead GIS for the City of Centennial. I have led and coordinated many types of special projects that involving planning, public works, communications, economic development and sales tax. I also have extensive experience in presenting to councils, boards, commissions and executives. Currently working on a project to develop, implement and amend City policy on data submission and sharing standards. This involves technical specs, contractual research and recommendations. Functioned as the lead city liaison in community outreach between some of the city's HOAs, Special Districts and regional cities.The results from project were registering neighborhoods for the communications department and gathering better geographic data. This enhanced service delivery with Council, citizens and staff.Developed information systems, processes, programs and products for decision support.Currently implemented an enterprise wide GIS system among inter agency and private sector service providers.Developed materials and guided the Election Commission through various redistricting models that resulted in the 2010 City Council Redistricting. Statistical and political analysis were necessary to complete this. I presented the empirical method for redistricting to City Council.Organized GIS work priorities and data connections in database design, mapping analysis and contractual agreements.Technical advisor in the writing of the 2011 Land Development Code.Planning advisor and outreach participant in the Non-commercial Agricultural Activities Focus Groups, which refined land use regulations pertaining to agricultural allowances in residential zoning districts.Development and maintenance of the Foreclosure Tracking Project that tracks foreclosed homes and offered economic analysis to City Council in a memos and presentations.Planning and GIS professional advisement and technical leadership that provides data and spatial solutions for a City of 100,000 people.
