Handled the finances of the team and was responsible for the overall functioning.• Engineered the design of "Kolossos" and "ALB-23" the flagship aircrafts for the year 2023 for SAE Aero Design East and SAE Drone Development challenge respectively.• Brought in improvements in the design of the aircrafts and the overall rankings of the team.• Kolossos stood 13th Worldwide and first in Asia-pacific.• ALB-23 was ranked 2nd Nation-wide in the overall rankings. Show less • Engineered the design of our Flagship ”ALB‑22”, a lightweight regular class aircraft, with the primary goal to lift maximum payload while taking off and landing on short runways. It had a wingspan of 88in and weighed under 5kg with an ability to lift up to 3kg of boxed payload. Worked along with a team students and manufactured the aircraft to meet all the rule book constraints.• Worked on CAD Modelling and material selection of different parts of the aircraft and optimization of the overall structure.• Performed various simulations and analyses on HyperMesh, HyperWorks and ANSYS Mechanical to verify the design prior to Manufacturing.• Lead the team as on site captain for SAE ISS Aero Design Challenge 2022.
