      Certificate Graphic Design

      Loved it. We did Life Drawing, Illustration, learnt Typography and Technical Drawing. But what was that large grey box with a keyboard in the spare room... the one with an 'Apple' on it?!

      Activities and Societies: ART! Came first in year 7 Art. Learnt how to do linocuts and was encouraged in my Artistic abilities. I still didn't know my times tables... but I discovered John Steinbeck!

      Activities and Societies: Art! Drama, Hockey... Insecure, had some fun, learnt a lot... Art, English, Science and Geography were my favourites. Maths. Well, I'd given up by then.

      Together with Chrissie Thomson, Robert Stock, Mark Jarvis, created the ongoing chamber in Katoomba. It all started as 'Katoomba Mainstreet' and is now a successful chamber.

      Painter, Drawer and Poodle owner. Travels around in my van painting and drawing from life... working quickly to capture the moment. Oils, Gouache, Inks, Charcoal, Lino Cut etc. I am always trying to push myself and improve and experiment. Paint is the powerful thing... the lusciousness of it, whether oil or water based. I am always inspired by nature, even when working in urban environments.

      I am very proud to be part of a fabulous founding Board of Directors for our Bendigo Community Bank , which continues to be a fascinating and rewarding experience. We are part of (350 and growing) network of Bendigo Community Bank branches across Australia that are making huge differences to their communities. Our board and terrific bank staff work very hard and this banking model ensures that the bulk of our profits are returned to our community. As of July 2018, we have returned over $600,000 in sponsorships and dividends to worthy causes, supporting community groups and projects in the upper Blue Mountains. Throughout Australia, the Community Bank network has returned over $90 million and this grows every day. Show less

      Kedumba Drawing Award 2014 Kedumba Drawing Award 2014 Invited to enter the Kedumba Drawing Award and I was very proud to be selected to be part of the collection by Artist Ann Cape. Currently housed at Orange Regional Art Gallery. This important drawing award has many renowned Australian Artists in the collection including Lloyd Rees, John Olsen and Judy Cassab.
