  As a Multimedia Project Manager, I would work with clients to develop, produce, and manage hundreds of events annually. The fast-paced nature of the corporate production environment required me to manage multiple projects simultaneously while showing my ability to prioritize conflicting needs and see every project through to completion. My role included everything from lighting and equipment setup to editing/post-production and delivery of final projects.   Communications Specialist

  After a short time editing video projects, the President of Murray Media offered me a more permanent role in a subsidiary company as the Lead Communications Specialist. I assisted with the day-to-day business operations of The Alumni Company while also managing the overall marketing and communications strategies. I created company press releases and eNewsletters for consumers, and I managed all social media and website content.   On-Site Audio-Visual Technician I at Fannie Mae

  The first half of my time as the On-site Audio-Visual Technician at Fannie Mae was spent managing all audio-visual operations for a single building. Most of the AV equipment was installed on mobile carts and shared among all meeting spaces, so I processed equipment and event requests as they came in and resolved reservation conflicts. I maintained all audio-visual equipment on site so that I could provide white-glove support for every event and every user.

  Audio-Visual Technician II at Fannie Mae

  As my contract with Whitlock was set to expire, Fannie Mae hoped to retain me in my current role, so I re-signed on a new contract with Canon Business Process Services to continue my work as the On-Site Technician. In addition to my regular audio-visual and meeting support duties, I began managing the AV needs of two additional buildings. I then trained an entry-level technician on the basics of the AV industry and the specific needs and processes that were in place at Fannie Mae’s multiple locations. The training that I implemented ultimately allowed that Technician to assume the AV duties of two satellite offices. Show less

  As one of six On-Site Technicians at Toyota, I was responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and repairing all AV equipment including, but not limited to: • DSPs (Biamp) • Control systems (Crestron) • Video codecs (Polycom) • Displays/Video walls • Microphones, etc.The AV equipment was distributed across 12 buildings and more than 1,000 meeting spaces. I would often meet with and support executive teams, external vendors, and everyday users for high-profile events. I trained users on proper use of equipment and meeting spaces and provided first-rate customer service and support. Show less My time as the On-Site Technician at Frito-Lay (PepsiCo) really gave me the opportunity to be more creative in my work. I directed live recordings of consumers and focus groups as they shopped a 20,000 square foot mock grocery store. I would strategically place cameras and microphones around the facility to make the client’s remote viewing sessions as immersive as possible. I utilized Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator for video and print projects, and maintained all of the audio-visual equipment in the facility. Show less
