All completed as the most senior manager in the country. 69,000 beneficiaries. • Turned around late and underspent programme (32% spent at half-way point) to being fully spent with all activities completed by its closure.• Successful security management during elections, a racially tense and violent period.• Mainstreamed gender into the programme, with improvements noticed in women’s self-respect and decision-making power, and the men’s participation in disaster preparedness (previously men were very under-represented in DP).• Designed “psychosocial for men” component, considered a model by ECHO.• Successfully managed staffing issues including racial tension and sexual harassment.• Designed and managed £70,000 microenterprise and animal health training programme.
