      1. Prior to completing my post-doctoral work, I was promoted to Scientific Associate within the same research unit.2. I was a co-PI on a large community-based three-arm RCT, which was industry-funded. During this project, I learned the importance of effective communication with stakeholders and that it is essential to develop a shared language. 3. I was a PI on an outcome measurement project where we developed the questionnaire, pre-tested the questionnaire in an extremely large outpatient clinic, obtained funding to test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire in community clinics located in the greater Toronto area. I managed to complete the project under budget.4. Collaborative grant and semi-annual report writing to the funder (WSIB) of the research unit. 5. I hired, trained, and supervised research assistants for several projects.6. Modified the outcome database for a multi-disciplinary outpatient rehabilitation program that kept in mind the reporting needs for the insurer along with the cultural sensitivities of the clients. Musculoskeletal Epidemiologist and Biostatistician

      1. One of my major job responsibilities is to provide epidemiological and biostatistical support for the members of a large multi-disciplinary department. I usually get involved in the project at the starting stage, where it is possible to re-phrase the research question(s), make changes to the study's design, and provide different analysis strategies. 2. Supervise and train pre-graduate (undergraduate students), masters, doctoral and post-doctoral students. I still get great satisfaction when the students realize they are starting to understand research.3. I am the lead researcher on a life-course analysis that involves linking questionnaire data with several different Danish registries (real-world analytics). One paper is about the impact chronic conditions have on sick-leave.4. An investigator on several large community-based studies (real-world studies) that involve multi-stakeholders.5. I have been actively involved in writing two EU research grants and providing feedback on two other EU grants. One grant was successful. 6. Teaching a doctoral-level prognostic research course with two other professors. This course will be online for the first time starting this September.7. Supervisor and censor for a Ph.D. level biostatistics course that requires the student to formulate a research question, develop a statistical analysis plan, conduct the analysis, interpret the analysis and present their project at their oral exam.
