  Leading and managing the day-to-day running of Raidió na Life, a non-profit community radio station broadcasting and operating through the Irish Language and serving the Greater Dublin Area. During this time, I took a sabbatical year-long career break and went traveling around the world, visiting 20 countries, in 2015.My duties as Station Manager include:Leading, managing & directing staff & volunteersProgramme schedulingWriting & co-ordinating funding & grant applicationsManaging finances & accounts PR & brand marketingOrganisational planning: Annual / Bi-annual Plans, Project ManagementLiaison with funding organisations, broadcasting authorities & organisations, Irish language organisations etc.Managing Stiúideo na Life, an additional onsite recording studioProgramme Production and PresentationVoiceover Show less (Including a sabbatical year spent traveling around the world in 2015, from Mexico to India) Leading & overseeing the day-to-day running of the excellent & highly-regarded, largely volunteer-run Irish-Language community radio station that is Raidió na Life. Managing and directing full-time and part-time staff; station finances and accounts; funding applications; organisational planning; project management; scheduling; recruiting, training, inducting and managing up to 100 volunteers; administration; marketing & promotion; stakeholder liaison, advertising etc.I have also presented and produced many programmes, including the station's flagship arts and events and current affairs programme 'Fios Feasa'; a weekly metal show which I initially established as a volunteer with Raidió na Life in 2001; live outside broadcasts etc. I also co-hosted 3 days of OBs on DCLRFM from the Dún Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures.
