Sport & recreation contractor / project manager

Coming from a legal background I have now been working in the sport and recreation sector for over 25 years. I started out at the Hillary Commission and transitioned from there to SPARC and into Sport and Recreation NZ. Throughout my nearly 20 years there I worked with the Active Recreation sector particularly national recreation organisations, local government and regional sports trusts. I managed a number of programmes including Push Play and Mission On, social marketing campaign encouraging more people to be more active. After a move to the Kapiti Coast in 2014 I’m now happily working from home continuing to work in the sport and recreation sector on a contract basis. This includes project and event management work, needs analysis and feasibility studies around facilities and artificial turfs and sport and active recreation strategy development. Show less
