  This is a business management role encompassing all aspects of the running of the practice. The role requires the ability to manage time, both personally and within the practice as a whole, as well as managing projects within the practice. All aspects of HR are included in the role – recruitment, induction, annual performance reviews and performance management, discipline and dispute resolution, exit interviews and contract management. Facility management and stock management are part of the position. Procurement of equipment to a capital level as well as day to day materials and equipment have been an important part of my role. Debt recovery and financial management, including financial reporting, are a significant part of the role and the overall financial performance of the practice has improved significantly in my time here. Relationship building is a key part of the role, in all aspects of General Practice - staff, patients and suppliers.
