  I underwrite new and existing accounts in conformance with underwriting guidelines to determine if they meet risk acceptability standards and/or the strategy of the organization. I also assist in the review and analysis of commercial risks that are medium to large in size and complexity.Job Responsibilities Include:1. Review data received to ensure completeness and thoroughness per standards.2. Perform analytical evaluations of financial statements on both a static and trend basis to determine the present and historical financial position of the account and continues to monitor financial position of the risk via pursuit and analysis of quarterly financial statements and work in progress data. Normal and customary evaluations of financial risks, includes the determination of working capital, net worth, liquidity and operating and profitability ratios.3. Correspond with CPAs, bankers, and lawyers to secure additional underwriting detail, as necessary, to assess risk on preliminary and ongoing basis. Show less
