      Director and principal investigator for the Minaspata Archaeological Project, a multi-year international research project in Cusco, Peru, funded by the National Science Foundation- Led a team of 30+ international students and professional archaeologists through multiple phases of data collection over three years- Responsible for all aspects of project management and direction, including: - Project ideation, design, and proposal; - Securing over $43,000 in grant funding from a variety of public and private sources - Navigating government permits and compliance - Data collection - Database architecture and management - Logistics and supply purchasing - Personnel management and training - Balancing the competing needs of diverse stakeholders- Created ground-up relational database for data input, management, and analysis, integrating spatial and visual data through use of GIS and 3-D imaging software; trained specialists to collect and enter data using a form-based front-end interface- Trained over 30 student team members in archaeological research methodologies and mentored 10 students into advanced degree programs in Peru, the United States, and Canada- Research presented through a dissertation, 8 conference presentations, 2 sole-authored publications, and 3 multi-authored publications, all drawing on various quantitative and qualitative data points Show less
