      At Fnb when I started I was a data capturer and I opened and closed cheque and savings accounts. I also was responsible to ensure that all signature mandates were up to date. I was also responsible to clear and balance the suspense account on a daily basis. I then moved to the Ledgers department and dealt with client queries, authorising of payments, etc

      I manage a team of six staff members who deal with attorney portfolios dealing with Credit Card accounts handed over for legal action. I also ensure that the attorneys are working within the agreed SLA. I prepare the attorney payment schedules for payment of the attorneys legal fees. I also deal with client complaints and Ombudsman queries. In the last 18 months I also shadowed my Senior Manager and attended court for the Matters that became defended and attended council with the advocate. I also learnt a great deal and obtained knowledge on the National Credit Act and assisted my Senior Manager with her duties in order for me to learn and gain the necessary knowledge Show less When I first started at Nedbank I was responsible for attorney porfolios and dealt with the Americna Express accounts. I had to ensure that the attorneys were collecting on the outstanding debt as well as proceeding with legal action where there was no payment being made. I dealt with client queries and complaints. I later moved ot our Specialised Services department and I dealt with the Credit Card Deceased accounts and I had to ensure that all documents were received in order for to claim for the insurance or from the deceased clients estate. I also was responsible to ensure that all credit balances were paid to the deceased clients estate.
