  1) Being part of the Development Finance team of SBP BSC (SBP’s policy implementation arm), my role involved:- Facilitating the implementation and monitoring of SBP's initiatives under its National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) at the regional level covering SBP’s priority areas of Agricultural Finance, Microfinance, SME Finance and Housing Finance (including low-cost housing finance) with cross-cutting themes of Islamic Banking and Financial Inclusion. These initiatives include engaging with regional stakeholders (both supply and demand side) through focus group meetings, indicative credit target monitoring meetings, capacity building programs and financial literacy & awareness campaigns. - Coordinating at the regional level with other stakeholders from public sector departments, donor agencies, international financial institutions and multilateral organisations etc. advocating the similar development finance agenda.- Undertaking special assignments supporting SBP’ s evidence based policy design such as; project management of field research experiments, and impact evaluation of financial inclusion initiatives.2) Some of the key assignments include:(i) Special projects involving capacity building, awareness creation, stakeholder interaction and policy feedback on Improving Access to Finance for IT related SMEs / Tech Startups, Women Entrepreneurs and Livestock & Dairy Sector(ii) Exploratory Study on the Impact of SBP’s National Financial Literacy Program (NFLP) in SBP BSC Central Region3) Trainer for SBP’s Policy and Initiatives for SME Finance and Master Trainer for SBP’s National Financial Literacy Programme (NFLP) Show less
