  In Hindustan Zinc Limited at Agucha Mine and Ore Processing unit I was responsible for - 1. Statutory Compliance - Timely submission of consent renewal applications, statutory returns such as Form 4, Form 5, Form VIII, Form 1, etc.2. ISO 14001 - Organised and coordinated for surveillance and recertification audits, conducted aspect - impact study of all the processes, certified internal auditor.3. Other Management System - Coordinated for other management system such as OHSAS 18001, SA 8000 & ISO 9001.4. Environmental Clearances - Active team member for getting environmental clearances of two major expansions [EIA study, Documentation, Public Hearing]5. New Initiatives - Explored and implemented the use of bio-degradable chemical for suppression of dust on mining haul roads; Explored and implemented the use of bio-degradable chemical on the surface of open water bodies to reduce the water loss through evaporation.6. Propose and drive new initiatives such as environmental standard for supply chain, Strategy development, execution and implementation of PAN India level project for sustainable disposal of hazardous waste through co-processing , Identify and implement the innovative solutions for hazardous and non hazardous waste, industrial and domestic effluent reduction, reuse and recycle.2. Ensure the 100% statutory compliance [consent renewal, periodic return submissions etc.] under Air & Water act, Hazardous & Bio-medical Waste, Battery & E-Waste rules.3. Ensure the effective implementation and sustenance of ISO 14001 system. Surveillance & re-certification audit, Aspect/Impact, EMPs, Environmental Objectives & targets, EMS manual , standardisation and documentation of processes.4.
