  My role as Trainee Assistant Manager has allowed me to broaden my horizon's working across multiple areas of the business. My initial 6 months were spent in various areas of the business learning how each department works. I spent time with the Premises and Datacentre Manager, Reception, Stores, Sales and Management Teams, to learn how the business works and how each department links up to create an end product. Having completed this initial period I am now working alongside the management team and assisting with day to day tasks and covering areas of the business for sickness and holiday. This role also allows me to continue dealing with customers and providing a good service for them, as well as learning how the business works. Show less I joined Logicalis (2e2 at the time) working alongside both the Datacentre Manager and the Engineering teams. I gained experience working with datacentre technology and premises management, supporting clients needs and maintaining the environment. I was also involved when the company set up a new datacentre and DR facility from the beginning of the process. Working with the engineering team I learnt to support both software and hardware faults for various clients and working across multiple brands and platforms. I gained additional experience as onsite IT support at various client sites and expanded upon my knowledge and customer service skills. Show less
