  Committee Member/Chairwoman

  I served as both a committee member and Chairwoman, for SUNY Plattsburgh's Shine On!, a program dedicated to teaching North Country girls in 3rd to 5th grade communication skills, media literacy, and character strengths. I helped plan and execute the Shine On! Conference, the program's annual event bringing together approximately 150-200 girls in the area. The conference took a few different forms due to COVID-19, ranging from an Adirondacks sleepaway camp experience to a hybrid/remote NASA ISS downlink and STEM conference, which reached students remotely in almost every region of New York state.
