Show less Key Responsibilities:Carry out maintenance and defect repair of heavy mechanical systems of the nuclear fleet of the Royal Navy. This included working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, various pumps, motors, compressors, generators and valves of all shapes and sizes.Alter/Manufacture components, background in machining and bench fitting this is a key part of every day work.Carry out pressure and functional testing of equipment on board vessels and in a workshop environment.Fault find when necessary to identify problems with previously mentioned equipment.Work carried out to required standards put in place by either the Royal Navy or Babcock Marine.
