  My time at Carpe Noctem Hostel was spent organizing and facilitating events for guests from various cultures to experience a foreign city. At said events, I held the responsibility of looking after hundreds of guests and supervising a team of fellow employees. Before and during events, I worked to create social media content and managed information on various media platforms. While in the hostel I was responsible for the organization and administration of the hostel, including but not limited to the use and development of complex POS systems and money processing, email communication, guest statistic record, bed allocation, delegating work to employees, maintaining systems and record in line with legal requirements, leading colleagues in frequent team meetings, and staff reviews. I often acted as a liaison between guests, staff, and upper management, which in return helped me attain the highest number of positive guest reviews out of all staff members from six hostels, reflecting the successful customer service and client interactions made. My salary was increased after a short period of time due to positive reviews from upper management and an increased knowledge of the city to benefit our guests' tourism and experience while staying with us. My colleagues and I worked extremely hard to maintain the high rating of 9.8 on "HostelWorld" by tracking and responding to guest reviews and complaints. These responsibilities were performed under strict HIPAA and 42 CRF Part 2 rules to maintain professionalism and security for all patients and their protected health information. My work was often independent, showing strong self management and motivation skills and the ability to make deadlines. This position required proficiency in Excel. I held this full time position while studying full-time online at a university on a separate continent.
