      Machine Operator

Through my experience of working in a large Industrial Factory, I have gained firsthand knowledge of how efficiency and quality go hand in hand to create the best possible outcome for the business. Within this job I have had many different roles, from initially working as part of a quality control team, through to being on a two man team on a bottle blowing machine producing over 22,000 bottles per hour. Duties included setting up machine operating temperatures, ensuring bottles were the correct temperature before being blown, leak detection analysis - to ensure there wasn’t any holes in the bottles, labeling – ensuring the bottle decoration was correctly applied without any crease or tears, palletising and wrapping – preparing the bottles for storage and filling.Hourly inspections where required throughout the shift to ensure the machine was operating both effectively and efficiently. These included testing sample bottles for visible defects, and calculating average weight of the bases. With the results of these tests, we could then make adjustments to the machine to prevent any problems before they occurred. Show less

      Draughtsman - Graphic Designer

Junior Draftsman / Graphic Designer - Solidworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Rebranding and Marketing.Initial job duties included bringing outdated AutoCAD drawings up to standard in Solidworks, creating 3d models and detailed drawings of each AutoCAD component then creating relevant assemblies in Solidworks, following the physical build procedures it was built in the workshop.Once I had completed the AutoCAD transition, I then turned my attention to creating factory work books for each product line. These contained every component needed for each product and provided boiler makers and sheet workers with relevant drawings and assembly information, to easily locate component placement. This removed the problem of old outdated drawings being used for current assemblies. This also eliminated the need for workers to come to the design office asking for drawings. Each book contained an easy to read bill of materials, with preview pictures and dimensions to allow workers to quickly identify components. These were also used in the store for packing kits, which had previously been subject to occasional missing items which had been overlook. Purchasing of outsourced components and materials was also streamlined, with all data taken directly from the latest Solidworks assembly.I then created spare parts catalogs, which were sent out to dealers nationwide, to streamline the process of ordering spare parts. In late 2013 the company logo and brand identification needed to be updated. This involved updating all marketing material, brochures, a brand new website, product books, business cards and flyer's.The new look was also incorporated to promotional materials such as flags, hats, stubbie coolers and field day give-away items, all of which mirrored the new look website and brochures. The new logo was introduced at the start of 2014 with immediate praise from dealers and customers right across Australia. Show less
