      As the Receptionist for the Department I utilised my comprehensive interpersonal and administrative skills to deliver exceptional customer service and support to the organisation and to its visitors. I was responsible for ensuring the Department’s security arrangements were maintained at all times by the vigilant provision of security access passes to staff, visitors and external service providers. I was also responsible for coordinating conference and meeting room bookings, the procurement of stationery, courier and freight services and processing of all incoming and outgoing mail with a great emphasis on confidentiality at all times.In this role I also provided assistance to the Business Operations Coordinator with fleet and facilities management, creating the Reception training manual and training new staff, and ad-hoc projects including the set up and registration of the Department’s library entries.       When I started at MTS in the operational readiness phase, I was one of only 30 staff, now we have over 300 and I can proudly say that I have had a huge part in coordinating the training and assessment programs that skilled our workforce for first passenger service in May 2019.
