  I managed the technical aspects of delivering the Aquisition Management System (AMS) and subsequently the development and delivery of the Aquisition Operating Framework (AOF) for the UK Ministry of Defence - both were large content rich web sites available on a central government intranet and via the internet to industry users.

  Development of extensions, customisations, and tools using the SAP B1 SDK APIs via C# code and Boyum. I have completed a variety of development assignments and projects that have delivered workflow and task efficiency improvements, inter company integrations, bulk import/update utilities as well as advanced reporting. These have benefitted SAP users across a number of end user companies, improving the ease and efficiency of their use of core and custom SAP B1 functionality. All projects have produced customisations which continue to feature as operational elements of current SAP B1 implementations in use today in end user companies. These projects have relied upon advanced knowledge/skills in: SAP B1 SDK (UI and DI APIs), SAP Service Layer via REST API, T-SQL and SQL Server, C# .NET and advanced Boyum capabilities such as the development of Dynamic .NET Universal Functions. Recent experience includes a full custom integration between SAP B1 and BigChange JobWatch with browser based front end developed using the Vue.js framework accessing SAP and JobWatch via respective REST/web APIs. Typically I take on freelance contract work directly with end user companies, working remotely and I'm flexible regarding the length or terms of an engagement. Show less Migration of master data and transactional data from a variety of legacy systems and sources into SAP Business One for approximately ten SME companies. Migration included analysis, extraction, staging, integrity checking, cleansing, loading and verification. The technical migration activities made use of SQL Server, T-SQL migration scripts, Excel, Data Transfer Workbench (DTW), TaskCentre and custom SAP DI API .NET import code. Custom report creation to meet client requirements. Reports queried SAP B1 data and legacy data and included custom financial reporting for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports. Report implementation was via use of Boyum SQL-Report/UDFs, Crystal Reports, Cognos, Excel and SQL Server T-SQL stored procedures and views. Show less
