Sept 2010 - Jun 2014Gas technicianthis position involved install, repair, service domestic and commercial appliances in homes, schools, flats, businesses. ,we were also the Valiant service agents for jersey with having our own deigned gas valve to run on our 14mbar gas/mix my role also included Gas emergency call outs, fan oil boilers, LPG boilers, Bathroom repairs, shower fittings, pipe runs, changeover valves, done lpco changes also had to do a gas assessment for call out duty for gas escapes.Whilst i was employed at jersey gas there was a chance of a 6-month work trial in Canada, which i tried for more experience. I was involved in gas maintenance on furnaces water heaters stoves also install and repair. I also maintain tap stations, Rig stations, meters, pfms, line locates, butt fusion gas PE pipe. I also managed to reduce carbon footprint by £21,000 within 6 months by going through all of the usage which I’m very proud to point out. Show less
