  Flight Sergeant (Senior Cadet)

  I was a senior cadet at the 575 Terrier Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron. I taught lessons, aided cadets in learning, and was a positive role model for all cadets by always being punctual, attending as many events as possible, maintaining a high standard of my uniform, and connecting with the cadets.

  I ensured the ice rink was clean of any snow or debris and was clean at the end of each night.I collected admission fees when skaters arrive.I kept the building clean of dust, garbage, etc.I had to get gas when the snowblowers and sweepers were out of fuel.

  Rotary International Exchange Student

  For one year I was an exchange student in Belgium where I learned the culture and language, and integrated with a brand new group of people. I over came problems such as language barriers, transportation problems, and cultural differences on various occasions through out my year.

  I am an Officer Cadet with the Canadian Armed Forces. I help, teach, and evaluate lessons with air cadets (12-18 years old). These lessons involve different parts of the program ranging from marching to more advanced topics such as aviation, survival skills, lesson planning and teaching.

  I organize and teach classes for a virtual ground school for about 65 students. I hire additional instructors and support as required and ensure attendance and assignment results are distributed to the students superiors.

  I instruct 16-18 year old Air Cadets to fly gliders through a set syllabus made by the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. I work to maintain the cadets flying skills though critiques. I also work to improve my flying by taking up passengers (mainly younger cadets). I demonstrate the ability of the glider and show passengers the sights near the Brandon Airport.
