Collaborated with colleagues to complete lesson planning. • Worked closely with colleagues to develop and incorporate critical thinking skills activities in Global Civilizations curriculum. . Students prepared final presentation on making social change at THS, which was well received by school principal and empowered staff members and students to make a difference in their society. • Established We the People Club, a mock congressional committee hearings. . Students researched Constitutional questions and presented information to panel of judges in Hartford, CT; project encouraged students to gain deeper understanding of Constitutional topics. • Served as Advisor for Cultural Diversity Club, providing students with opportunity to learn and celebrate diversity through cultural activities. • Participated in Model UN Conferences, Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month. • Aided District Cultural Diversity Committee for eight years.
