  Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and conference manager for the Center for Global Health Engagement (CGHE). Proficient in the implementation and management of meetings, workshops, and conferences of varying levels and sizes, both domestically and internationally. My experience within the context of meeting and conference management has provided me the opportunity to work with United States Embassy officials, foreign ministries and cabinets, high ranking military officers (domestic and foreign), local and national government officials [and staff] in countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Central, the Middle East and the Caribbean and in the United States. I’ve managed multiple meetings concurrently; developed SOPs for planning phase(s) within my organization; developing timelines, preparing agendas; producing participant information and managing the overall execution of a conference or meeting. This also extends to managing budgets, expenditure reports; developing and producing or reproducing documentation necessary to support conferences; including meeting materials and registration website content. Additionally, I have working knowledge of the regulations and guidelines of the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR). My conference management experience at CGHE, consists of planning, logistics, and assisting in the execution of education and training programs for the DoD. I’ve worked with all six Combatant Commands (CCMDs) for the Avian Influenza Pandemic Influenza (AIPI) grant under the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center (Global Emerging Infections Surveillance and Response System [GEIS] division); with USAFRICOM for the West Africa Disaster Preparedness Initiative (WADPI), planning training for 12 West African nations in the response to the Ebola epidemic; Disaster Preparedness Program (DPP) planning and executing training for Disaster Preparedness and Response discussion-based tabletop exercises.
