  Infrastructure Support Technician

  Working at Ergo, there are several different roles I have as an Infrastructure Engineer. I will often go on-site for days to support customers, or to temporarily become the role of network manager, maintaining and upgrading their servers.I will also work on site for new implementations of the customers infrastructure. For example, I work in a team of engineers to install or upgrade a whole new network or I would go on-site by myself to configure a new wireless infrastructure. When I have no project work booked, I will be on the support desk, where I will assist many network managers and ICT engineers across the country with any issues that they have. This involves remoting onto servers and client machines to look for the resolution of the issue.There is a broad variety between issues that I get to deal with, which allows my knowledge to expand well on many different aspects of networking.
