  Conducting research of the water qualities of different water tables in Durham, NC and making note of important changes in water quality parameters using public databases. Then analyzing datasets to identify significant correlations between water quality parameters and the water quality index. Water quality index had a significant moderate indirect correlation with fecal coliform (-0.438), turbidity (-0.517), phosphorus (-5.03), and pH (-0.647). The analysis identified each was significant at the 0.001 level while the correlation between water quality index and ammonia nitrogen (-0.150) was weak, indirect and significant at the 0.05 level.
