The World Music Ensemble plays music and learns musical techniques from around the world. I have played as a first violin for this ensemble since the beginning of 2022. I worked as a teaching assistant for the Research Experience in Cellular Biology (BIO 200) course during the Fall 2023 semester. This position involved the traditional requirements of the TA position in addition to helping students identify research topics, write research papers, and conduct original research. I spent a year interning in the Morris Lab working on research in the areas of regenerative and cellular biology. I was able to present some work at the Annual Academic Conference held at Wheaton College. I worked as an assistant in the Archives and Digital Initiatives department of the Madeleine Clark Wallace Library. While I held this position I mostly helped with database development and digitization of archived material, as well as occasionally aiding in faculty research projects. I played as a first violin, on on one occasion, principal second violin, for the Great Woods Symphony since 2021. During this time we played a large variety of technically challenging pieces that allowed me to develop and hone my musical skills throughout the time I was a member of this group. I worked as a teaching assistant for the Introduction to Biological Sciences (BIO 114) course during the Fall 2022 semester.
