  Residential Inspection Manager with the City of Los Angeles Building and Safety. As a Manager, it is my responsibility to plan, organize, and direct the activity of the inspection staff on a daily basis. I also review and present cases that are under appeal to the Board of Building and Safety Commissioners. My additional duties are to represent Building and Safety at City Council meetings. In addition, I supervise a staff of inspectors that assist with special projects and a citywide proactive inspection program for conditional use permits. Show less As a Sr. Building Mechanical Inspector in Code Enforcement, I supervise and train a staff of Inspectors and oversee inspections conducted in The City of Los Angeles. I review inspections conducted on commercial and residential buildings within the City of Los Angeles. My duties require me to review corrections, orders to comply and cases being prepared for administrative hearing. I also review cases on a regular basis with customers in an effort to help them understand and comply with local and state codes. Show less
