The job role alternated my service as a trained silver service waitress on the floor with a recpetionist role requiring strict organisation, coordination with the various restaurant teams, whilst welcoming guests in a friendly and inviting manner.

  I undertook a part-time internship alongside my third year university studies. Responsibilities included:• Shadowing the Creative Directing team.• Fulfilling briefs for potential upcoming productions and pitching ideas to a board of established professionals. Worked as a production runner alongside a 20 person crew, filming ITV’s The Stand Up Sketch Show. Responsibilities included:• Handling communication devices between crew.• Attending to talent and crew.• Abiding to strict schedules.• Responsible for props, call sheets and organization of the 80-person live audience.

  BBC Work Experience Program

  Completed the BBC Channel Islands work experience programme alongside the News and Radio team. I worked alongside Editors, Producers and Reporters, contributing towards the breakfast, mid-morning and evening radio shows. This included preparing and recording an interview with local surfer Tom Hook after he won the U18s Channel Island Championships, filming a story investigating the affect of nurdles and plastic on marine life, and editing interviews with local transport hubs exploring how they have been attempting to reduce their carbon footprint. My knowledge of editing softwares (Highlander and Final Cut Pro), camera equipment, and the news production process has broadened, and I look forward to using it in future roles Show less

Responsibilities include:• Confident forecasting and budget monitoring via PMI and Excel Ready Reckoners.• Independently set up logistically complex shoots (Djibouti, South Africa, Kenya, Chad).• Understanding and adhering to policies set by BBC Studios, Disney Plus and the National Geographic.• Confident contracting fixers and locations using PSA’s and Access Agreements.• Negotiated deals on rates and location costs.• Raised crew contracts using Smartbook and Non-UK Freelancer Agreements .• Carbon tracking via Albert.
