      Provide vision and leadership for the Office of Community Standards which provides oversight to the institutional wide student conduct process. This includes supervision of 8 staff and guidance to staff at the Storrs and each of the 4 regional campuses. The student conduct process includes policy development, investigations and hearings surrounding student based sexual misconduct, drug distribution, student organizational misconduct, hazing etc. Supervise the student conduct system case management with ensuring timely case management, workflow, monitoring of investigations through the resolution and when required sanction issuance. Upon hiring, recruited and hired 3 new professional staff inorder to replenish staff vacancies Responsible for all trainings related to student conduct officers, hearing officers and appellate officersDeveloped open lines of communication with campus partners including UConn Police Department, General Counsel, Office of Institutional Equity, Athletics, Academic Affairs etc to ensure the University student conduct process was understood and its impact on students and the universityCreated data driven reports to highlight the output from the office and further showcase the investigation through resolution processes. Developed new policies and procedures to comply with the Covid-19 Pandemic and the 2020 Title IX Final Rule required by the Federal Government. Maintain all student conduct records in compliance with Federal and State requirements in order to provide accurate annual reports through the Office of Institutional Equity. Served on Incident Response Team providing a collaborative approach to university response to bias related incidents. Chaired and served on numerous search committees to ensure the hiring of the best talent for the flagship institution.
