  Camp Counselor

  Pepperdine Family Camp was created to connect Alumni of Pepperdine University and their families. It is a great way to keep them and their families involved with the university and meet fellow alumni in the area. As a camp counselor, I was in charge of taking camper through the various activities throughout the day. I also looked after the children while the adult members went off on their own activities. We helped the families with whatever needs they had while staying at the camp. Before the camp started, I and the other counselors created themes for the camp and came up with activities for the campers during their stay. As a current student, it was a great experience to connect with fellow waves and hear their stories from their time at Pepperdine and beyond that. It is also a great way to learn about the various industries that they all went on to, and make connections for future career ventures. Show less
