  Project TULiP (Technology Uniting Like-minded Physicians and Patients) is a research study conducted by the New Jersey Black Women Physicians Association and Rutgers Women's Health Institute. It explores the qualities that New Jersey residents seek in culturally competent physicians.-Researched systemic racism's impact on healthcare, focusing on maternal health disparities to inform interventions for underserved communities.-Collaborated with teams to develop TULiP, a mobile app connecting Black patients with Black physicians, advancing racial competency and healthcare equity.-Led qualitative interviews with Black patients in New Jersey, gathering insights to inform app design and improve patient-physician interactions, and drafted and managed IRB protocols to ensure ethical compliance. -Designed and presented my research to students and faculty.
