  At that moment in time RAET was one of the leading Dutch ICT-services companies in The Netherlands. I started my career as an IT-developer and project leader participating in various challenging projects. From 1991 on I became operational responsible for a business unit with 50 collegues. During 1993 and 1994 I acted as an account manager focussing on the banking sector.

  In 1995 I joined CMG (currently part of CGI). I stayed thirteen years with this fast growing and entrepreneurial IT-services Company. From 1995 to 1998 I was responsible as a market manager to develop from scratch the Insurance market for CMG. January 1999 I got promoted to Managing Director within the financial services sector. During eight years I was P&L responsible for various business units with on average 200 high level consultants, focussing respectivily on: software development, networking & security, business consultancy & project management.   Balance (www.balance.nl) is the leading Dutch consulting firm focussing on the management of complex projects in infrastructure, (sustainable) energy and environment. Based in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Arnhem with over 350 professionals. During my years with the company we transformed it from a multi-discipline secondment company to a well focussed market leader in project management. Ultimately, in addition to the secondment business, over 40 percent of the compagnies business consisted of consultancy assignments and (multi year) projects. A lot of important (master) agreements had been won.Until May 2015 Balance has been owned by the US-listed Hudson Global group, a providor of permanent recruitment and talent management solutions. After I initiated and led a complicated management buy-out it became an independent Dutch company. The deal has been funded by management and employees (majority), private equity and a bank loan. By the end of 2018, I sold my shares to the external investor, after which I left the organization. Show less

  Hudson Netherlands (https://nl.hudson.com) is a HR consultancy firm focussing on professional recruitment and talent management services. Based in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Arnhem. Till May 2015 Hudson Netherlands has been owned by the US-listed Hudson Global group, a providor of permanent recruitment and talent management solutions. After the management buy-out it became an independent franchise organization, owned by Balance.
