      Floor/Charge Nurse

Texas Rehab Hospital is a 50 bed physical /occupational/speech rehabilitation hospital that opened a little over 2 years ago. It is in the process of adding more beds to each floor as well as expanding the gym. Nursing in a rehab hospital is tough, we not only take care of those post hips, knees, and backs, but those with traumatic brain injuries, open heart surgery patients, ( sometimes straight from the ICU), and strokes all severities. I take care of patients both as a Floor Nurse and in a different way as the Charge Nurse. Patient satisfaction with excellent care is our top priority, so far we have been meeting or exceeding the goals set before us. Show less
