  •Responsible for overseeing all field construction activities carried out by GyM-Astaldi where successfully lead a multi-disciplinary team of 14 engineers during construction of the gravity dam (500,000 m3 of RCC and conventional concrete), deviation and headrace tunnels (4 km.), intake structure (15,000 m3 of concrete), 10 MW mini hydroelectric power plant (8,000 m3 of concrete), 2200 kV transmission line and substation, and infrastructure facilities such as access roads, bridges, permanent camps and industrial plants. •Efficiently monitored and controlled contract progress, focusing on the project schedule, compliance with technical specifications, drawings, construction procedures, as well as meeting safety and quality standards. •In charge of final reviews and approval of monthly payment certificates, negotiating contract variations, additional work scope and claims submitted by the main contractor (contract valued over USD 700 MM).•From October 2016 to January 2017, during the operation of the plant, worked as senior Civil Engineer in charge of civil works maintenance, addressing civil works items contained in the punch list and supervision of additional civil works.Achievements:•Participated in technical team meetings that resulted in a decrease of 50% of the claim submitted which amounted to USD 100 MM.•Completed the Project within the scope, timeline and foreseen budget.
