  I look at the Wealth Proposition as well as products like FX, Insurance, Investments, Brokerage & Securities. While I solve business problems analytically in the above areas, SAS/R/Python are the major programming languages I put to use and hypothesis driven problem solving/Statistical Modeling/Deep learning/Simulations are few of the tools deployed.In my 8 years with HSBC and on going, I have worked across geographies - Europe, Americas, AsiaPacific and across different verticals - Products, Customer segments, Wealth covering both the Assets and Liabilities side of the bank. I have also lived and worked in Mainland China for close to 3 years. Over time I have learnt new programming languages like R and Python and harnessed my Project management skills. I work on Machine learning & AI and very much interested in applying different algorithms and techniques to solve various business problems. Show less After completing nearly 1.5 years with the Assets team in Bangalore, I moved to the ASP Regional Liabilities team in Guangzhou. I work primarily for the Malaysia, Singapore, China and Australian markets. My work comprises of interacting with the people in the analytics community, Proposition and Product teams within the local markets. A glimpse of my analyses include - Premier customer Segmentation, enhancing International Proposition, implementing consistent FX segmentation, Modeling initiatives to tackle attrition.A large part of what I do is also dedicated towards development of event triggers and evaluation, customer centric triggers, their implementation, commercialization and measurement of effectiveness. There were analyses pertaining to Liquidity measurement, Flow of funds, Inflows and Outflows, Pricing Elasticity measurement, Cross-sell, Next Best product, Revenue measurement, Dormancy and predicting Customer attrition.I interacted with the Analytics counterparts, Product managers, CVM heads and Proposition Managers in UK.I worked for the ASP Assets team for nearly 2 years covering all the main markets - Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Phillipines, China, Indonesia and India. My primary engagement was on driving growth for the Cards business and some of the key analyses include - Customer segmentation, Incremental revenue computation from Balance Build programs, Proposition comparison, Rewards and redemptions, Driving strategies around Transactors in the cards base, development of Comprehensive tracker which is a framework to look at revenue and leads for campaigns and triggers.
