  Spend 60 extra-curricular hours researching and creating proposals on various topics in preparation for debate and discussion at other schools and at the MUN conference at The Hague. This year’s conference focused on the theme of 'Challenges to Democracy' and on the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals. I had the opportunity stimulate resolutions, debate and motions to contemporary issues related to these themes with peers from around the world and acquire valuable experience in international policy-making.   Organised and lead all social activities for The University of Warwick Taekwondo Club. Made custom graphics to promote these activities to the club, which were adapted to new government guidelines on social distancing. Contacted and liaised with venues to ensure all activities were safe. Worked closely with an executive committee team to ensure appropriate funding was available for the events.

Lead the social media team, including editing all content and monitoring traffic for optimisation. Frequently reviewed our strategy for consistent improvement.Worked closely with The Boar’s executive committee (including the editors of all 15 sections of the paper) to communicate a cohesive image and message.   Summer intern working for sustainable start up, based in Switzerland. Although the use of plastic straws and single-use plastic all together is one part of a larger interconnected web of sustainability issues, every small contribution helps, and so I am proud to help spread awareness of the fantastic product this company makes. In my role I am responsible for collecting vast data on potential buyers and collaborators, and then reaching out to them. I am also working on building their social media presence and contacting journalists to expand their overall impact. Show less
