  Lead all the Testing activities for the project. It involves review of project deliverables and preparation of Test Approach, Test Plan, Test Design and Test Reports. Make sure of the defect free delivery of the project deliverables for each phase of the project. This includes the following activities:• Understand the requirement/product/architecture.• Reviewing Nonfunctional Performance and Scalability requirements, peak production usage profile that focuses on high-volume and critical application business scenarios.• Creating Workload Design volume Matrix to emulate real life performance scenario.• Carrying out workload analysis from production data.• Scripting the Business Critical transactions and developing test approaches for new products or technologies. • Carrying out Test Execution using Loadrunner, Jmeter or Batches• Developing snippets where ever feasible for metrics collection /test execution.• Determine the optimal values for heap , thread setting, connection pool count and benchmarking products• Preparing Test strategy and Plan with details of Test approach, methodology and deliverables.• Executing Baseline test for initial response time which will be used for comparison for all tests.• Monitoring the CPU usage, GC ,Threads, Heap of the JVM App server using Visual VM• Analyze heap memory usage with Memory analyzer for memory leak and identify the leaking objects using Heap dump analyzer.• AWR report Analysis to identify timed events and to improve the Oracle DB performance.• Document and Reporting Test results (LR 95% report, NMON, AWR) results and providing recommendations to Enterprise Architecture Team for Performance tuning.• Monitoring the test execution, defect logging and other testing activities• Tracking Defects to closure, Test Result Analysis and Test Reporting (using Quality Center) Show less
