  In the microbiology lab, I was in a fasted pace and demanding environment as the people around me were diagnosing, treating and preventing dangerous diseases.During my work experience, I went around to all the different stations such as the MALDI station which was an extremely advanced machine connected to a computer to identify the micro bacterial species with the help of matrix assisted lasers. I would transfer the matrix onto the samples before letting the mass spectrometer analyze the sample.I learned how to diagnose and manage these dangerous diseases and how to follow strict safety precautions and I was even allowed to help one of the stations with combatting some diseases by placing different tablets in the test dishes to test which tablet is effective or not Show less

  The exposure to financial markets has provided me with an overview of investment types such as equities and how they have their own risk levels and asset allocations; We conducted financial analyses, risk assessments and asset allocations to create customized investment plans and I learned how investing in different regions gives different returns and how to use developing regions and developed regions to balance the risk levels. • Moving on to risk levels, throughout this work experience I have been able to understand risk management and how crucial it is to inform the client and take into consideration a client's circumstance before providing them with investment opportunities. • Talking about clients, I have learned it is very important to develop a relationship with the client so interacting with them regularly for reviews etc is very important.
