  As a Democratic Services Support Officer my day to day role consisted of supporting the wider Democratic Services Team as we served the Councillors of Medway.I was charged with ensuring the Public were aware of any upcoming Committees by publishing information according to the Council’s Constitution. My role also required me to engage with members of the Public at certain Committee evenings, particularly our Full Council, where I assisted those who were asking a question to the Councillors regarding issues in their local areas.During my time here I proactively looked for ways to improve the process we followed when setting up for School Admission Appeals in the team.   As Trust Administrator to the Rochester Cathedral Trust I wear many hats - I am the Administrator to the Gundulf Society and the Business Guild under the Trust, and I am also a member of the Administration team within the Cathedral Office.My role largely consists of planning events for the Trust, such as:- Our Business Guild breakfasts each month where local Kent business owners can come and network for few hours.- Charity Golf Days- Dinners in the Cathedral Nave in the presence of the Duchess of Edinburgh- Tours of the Cathedraland many more!I maintain databases for the Gundulf Society and the Business Guild and from them I send mailings and invitations to our members.I also keep the Cashbook for the Trust, documenting each payment in and out of our account, ensuring the Trustees can always see the financial data they need.
