I worked side by side with a certified therapist in order to advance my learning and clinical skills learned after my first year of education.       I gained clinical experience for 12 weeks in the acute rehab setting found at St. Lukes. The caseload consisted of primarily neurological conditions including CVA, TBI, GBS, Parkinson's, SCI, etc. We also treated patients following cardiac procedures with sternal and cardiac precautions as a phase II rehabilitation. Additionally some other cases we dealt with were total joint replacements and amputations.
