      Project Leader in Fiber glass cell. Designed 737x Boeing plenums cell (layout), improved process and tools, including molds (fixtures); directed planning and production control for plenums 737X, supervision and production reports. Close relationship with the following areas: Tool Room (tools design), Machining and Details cell, Metrology, Quality and Materials departments. In this position I was able to identify opportunities to improve profit margins. I proposed and justified improvements to manufacturing processes. As a team we established initial layouts. Analysis, research, estimates and tests were conducted to complete projects. Project implementation status reports in a daily basis for Management staff. Our team proposed and justified projects to introduce new technologies and automation; supported new products introduction, understanding a variety of processes. Organize and conduct meetings with agenda. Supervised 4 Indirect/ 45 direct hourlies; once new cell 737x Boeing Plenum started production, team achieved consistency and outputs improvement going from 10-12 to 25 units / week, this result was achieved thanks to reduced downtime and introduction of new production processes. Reorganized operations allow a delivery time improvement from 4 to 2.5 days at 85%. This mean an increase going from $ 100,000 to $ 250,000 USD/month. Our team redesigned and repaired tools, new molds were ordered, manual drilling process was modified to be performed using a milling machine. Team also developed and implemented a new production planning and control plan. Efficient direct repots management and development achieved. In charge of production planning and control based on due dates and priorities, responsible for the establishment of production processes through a close relationship with production supervisors and balancing resources to maximize productivity. Assume management responsibilities delegated by the Quality Assurance Manager in his absence (ensure conformity of products according to customer requirements, monitoring Quality Leaders and MRB).
