  ✒ Legal Intern at the Global Internship Program - sat as a member of the Energy Regulatory Teams in the firm.✒ • I sat in the firm’s Energy/ Electricity Practice Group, where I completed various tasks including, determining the classes of the group a clients trademark came under and went further to prepare the procedures to which it could register its trademark in South Africa, I contacted the trademark registry and maintained communication until the registration was successful. ✒Conducted various researches, drafted memos, and sent emails to clients. I was also responsible for setting up an event and presentation with my team, inviting potential international investors on the ease of doing business in India. I worked occasional overtime to meet the client's deadlines and deliver high-quality legal work. ✒ I reviewed the Spanish Arbitration Law, in other to report to a client whose arbitration sits is in Spain. While reviewing the law I had to consider the initiation process, appointment of arbitrators, commencement, fee, and the time limit to complete the arbitration proceedings. I also identified and flagged provisions that are highly relevant to the key issues for commercial arbitration. ✒ Taken part in a moot competition organized by the firm which empowered my ability to communicate better and defend my client. ✒ Received an award as an OUTSTANDING INTERN, with a scholarship offer to complete a professional online course.
