The intent is to train new employees in the selected entry level jobs to work “harden” them and to teach them about our culture and HR polices. The program that I designed gave the new employee the necessary “work-preparedness” for what was a fast-paced work environment. In addition to training, new employees in this program were under close evaluation for hire both during the program and during their probationary period.
