      Worked on a end to end development for PCU product platform for Kapsch client. The responsibilities included:- Identifying the requirements as per the customer FRS and their feasibility- Preparing the High Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Design (DD) for the system - Design of various Operation Administration and Maintenance related aspects of the system as mentioned below:1. Nodal Operation and Maintenance - Introduce a new service group for optical functionality on the system - Design and development of high availbilility aspects of introduced service group on the system - Implementation of load, unlock and swact operations (to handle reduncdancy) for entity 2. Automatic Protection Switching (APS)In order to help network survive at the optical level in case of hardware or link failure, APS was implemented on the system as per G.841 standard. As per requirements, linear multiplex section unidirectional 1+1 non-revertive/revertive protection was implemented for system3. Fault Management - Identifying the alarms as per the SDH standard and customer's requirements - Design of alarm detection and reporting mechanism - Design and development of SFP related optical alarms4.
