  • Led the Portfolio and Project Managment Center of Excellence driving the development of the PPM Strategy necessary to achieve Cargill’s business plan. The Center of Excellence governs the Portfolio and Project Management processes, data & analytics and technology used throughout Cargill for all project types including Mergers and Acquisitions, Build, New Product Development and Information Technology. The Portfolio and Project Management technology solution (Planview) was deployed globally to over 14,000 users in under two years. • As the Product Owner, developed the product governance for the Portfolio and Project Management Technology solution for all of Cargill. This included the support plan, release schedule, enhancement and features roadmap, and the application security policies.• Led key transformation efforts utilizing formal change management methodologies within Cargill to align our Portfolio and Project Management processes to the financial value capture process. This consisted of a team of cross functional thought leaders in Cargill and external consultants which was recognized as a significant contribution to Cargill by C-level executives.• Our Center of Excellence team was nominated for a Cargill Breakthrough Award created to recognize individuals and teams who have demonstrated exemplary behaviors and results that drive an innovative, high-performing culture and deliver on our corporate strategy. • Integrated an agile approach and agile toolsets into our gated processes. Show less •Led the North America Cargill Business Services Portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO) comprised of approximately 20 internal and external project managers and process consultants migrating work from North America into one of our Cargill Business Services centers. Achieved an overall business partner rating of 4.1 out of 5.0 on completed projects. •As Global Reporting and Analytics Leader for the Cargill Business Services PMO, accountable for all roadmap reporting and analytics to C-Level executives and Cargill Business Services leadership teams. •Led the creation of the PMO metrics in order to drive operational improvements in the way we work. Process improvements resulted in moving 50% more FTEs to Cargill Business Services centers while at the same time reducing our budget spend by 50%.•Created the Cargill Business Services PMO Service Offerings catalog to market and sell our services to other groups in Cargill. Cost center owner and main contact for the global ITSB PMO budget.• Member of the 9 person team that prioritized all IT technical infrastructure project work for all of Cargill.• Recruited, coached, managed, and retained Cargill and contract IT PM resources. Total portfolio consisted of 40-50 projects with a project spend of $30MM. • Responsible for the project management of CAN’s re-write of their custom formulation system. Planned all project phases, milestones, tasks and timeline. Managed the $13MM budget which was delivered on-time and within budget. Managed tasks relating to analysis, design, testing and global implementation. Implementation included multi-languages, multi-species and multi-brands, as well as consultants and 3rd party dealers.• Responsible for the project management of Cargill Animal Nutrition’s (CAN) re-write of their ERP system which was implemented in 180 locations across 22 countries.Planned all project phases, milestones, tasks, timeline and managed the $2.1MM budget. Managed tasks relating to design and implementation. Determined the strategy and coordinated the implementation processes and tools. Communicated progress to governing body and team. Identified and managed project risks.• Managed the offshore development office in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
