  Democratically elected by my peers I was the leader of the Student Council whose principle function is to identify and meet the needs of the Student Body. I was a part of the reformation to incorporate learner voice by providing feedback to senior management. I serve as Treasurer and have regular meeting with the head of finance regarding budget planning, forecasts and transactions. I oversaw the organisation of events such as parties, formal black tie events and charity awareness incentives.

  Volunteer Project Manager - The Orchard Medical Centre

  Over the summer I had the opportunity to observe and shadow different members of staff of the Medical Practice. While working directly with the practice manager I was able to help identify and find solutions to organisational inefficiencies and learn the dynamics of change and project management. Similar to my previous work experience I focused on patient engagement but also look at how the organisation ran on a daily basis. I have a great passion for ICT and was able to find help management find easier ways to do things while also rapidly becoming very accustomed to their clinical IT system, EMIS Web. Show less

  Within days of working for the airline supply company, I went from a data entry assistant to working within a team of supervisors, combining their practical experience with my IT experience to improve existing business processes.
