  During the period of my tenure in the company I've covered major three career episodes as follows:• As an Electrical Engineer for maintenance of 14 ZPMC manufactured Quay Cranes (QC) under QC electrical team of Colombo International Container Terminals (CICT), Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka from 15th September 2021 to 9th March 2023.• As the Project Electrical Engineer for installation and commissioning of SFZ Type Wind Autolock Anti-creeper device for STS cranes (Ship to Shore Cranes) from 21st January 2022 to 26th March 2022.• As the Project Manager for the installation and commissioning of Boom Anti-collision Laser Scanner Protection System for 12 STS cranes at Colombo International Container Terminals, Port of Colombo from December 2021 to 28th May 2022. As Electrical Engineer from 15th September 2021 to 9th March 2023, the following are my main tasks or duties:• Involves in maintaining, repairing and modification of electrical systems, PLC systems, VFDs and heavy duty motors related to container and cargo handling heavy duty equipment like Quayside Gantry Cranes etc.• Determining the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, contactors and other equipment.• Maintaining sufficient man power for Quay Crane electrical team, special project teams and allocate them for jobs in an efficient way. • Special concerning over critical devices in the cranes and sustain a considerable Tps. (Total time for preventive maintenance)• Analyzing the key reasons behind major breakdowns and planning special preventive maintenance plans to sustain a higher target of MMBF.   Transmission Lines & Cables TeamKey Tasks: Contribute to conceptual and detailed electrical design for transmission and distribution projects. Perform cable rating assessments, sheath bonding calculations, and developed design criteria. Conduct Low Frequency Induction studies to assess AC interference on pipelines using CDEGS software. Assist in route alignment, cable pit location mapping, and material take-off for underground cable projects. Provided drawing markups and collaborated with drafting teams for GID documentation.Projects Involved: Parkwind, Blue Mackerel Offshore Wind Project (Victoria, Australia): Designed a 132 kV underground transmission line from landfall to the substation, including cable installation modeling, rating assessments, and route selection. Papua LNG Upstream Project – Low-Frequency Induction Study: Modeled worst-case AC induction scenarios to ensure induced touch voltages on pipelines remained within safe limits, utilizing CDEGS software (SES ROWCAD & SES ROW).
