  This was my career stepping post where I started my career as Technical administrator and promoted as warranty officer and as warranty & Insurance controller and as Sr. Warranty and Insurance Controller. I was responsible for handle warranty claims and co-ordinating with all issues related to warranty and program letters with OEM’s / Vendors /Suppliers. Worked in close co-ordination with Technical Engineering, Planning Manager, Supplies and Logistics Manager of Material and man-hour spent in defect rectification during Routine and heavy maintenance checks for all aircrafts in regard of warranty/insurance and recovery of the same.Collected and analysed details of Damage Reports/ photographs/Repair Cost Estimates for aircraft / engine /component repair required for registering warranty/insurance claims. Liaised with Engineering Services, Engineering Planning, and Finance (Technical Accounts) to settle warranty & insurance claims by resolution of all sorts of technical, administrative, financial and legal queries. As Technical Administrator: Gathered all company operating procedures, manuals under instruction by the Executive Vice President and Vice President– Engineering & Maintenance.   Responsible for setting up Warranty policy & procedures, handling warranty claims and co-ordinating with all issues related to warranty and guarantee for aircraft, power plants, landing gears, wheels and brakes, tools and test equipment, components, accessories, modules, etc. acquired under Purchase or Lease Agreements of OEM’s / Vendors /Suppliers. Reviewing and suggesting changes in Contracts/agreements to the management related to warranties. Monitoring warranty claims; ensuring Corrections/Repairs/Modifications of unserviceable components and recovery of costs incurred in removal/installation of labour and transportation. Monitoring warranty claims for rotable exchanged from the ‘consignment/lease stock’ or is under the ‘exchange contract’.Ensure all warranty claims are submitted within stipulated timeframe along with required documentation.
